Practice Nurse


 We currently have a vacancy for an experienced and enthusiastic Practice Nurse to join our Nursing Team.  You should be competent in core duties such as general treatment room skills, including immunisations and cervical screening and ideally have experience of chronic disease management (COPD/asthma/diabetes) although the opportunity for further training could be arranged for the successful candidate. Receptionist


We are also looking for a part-time receptionist to join our busy team. The hours will be Monday 8am to 2pm, Thursday 8am to 2pm and Friday 8am to 2pm with additional sickness and holiday cover when required. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, be hardworking, reliable and able to work on their own initiative, as well as a team player. Home Visits

 

Home examIf you are too ill to attend the surgery we will visit you at home.

 

Please tell the receptionist if the problem is urgent and, if possible, telephone before 11.00am.

 

Wherever possible we recommend that you  try to come to the surgery as we can examine and treat you much better here.

 

If you need to contact a doctor outside surgery hours ring the surgery number and follow the voicemail instructions or contact NHS 111 by dialing 111 from your telephone keypad. NHS 111 will assess your needs over the phone and divert you to the most appropriate service, be it a Community Pharmacist, the GP Out of Hours service, an NHS Walk In Centre or A&E. NHS 111 is free to call from both landlines and mobile phones and is available 24 hours a day.
