From the end of April we will be offering Covid-19 vaccinations (Spikevax – Moderna) to all eligible patients.
This includes patients aged 75 and over and patients who turn 75 years old by 30 June 2024, patients who are admitted to an older adult care home and immunosuppressed patients.
2024 Flu Vaccination Campaign
From 1 September 2024 we will be offering the flu vaccination to the following patients:-
- pregnant women
- all children aged 2 or 3 years on 31 August 2024
- all children in clinical risk groups aged from 6 months to less than 18 years
From October 2024 we will be offering the flu vaccination to the following patients:
- those aged 65 years and over
- those aged 18 years to under 65 years in clinical risk groups
- those in long-stay residential care homes
- carers in receipt of carers allowance or those who are the main carer of an elderly or disabled person
- immunocompromised patients and their close contacts
- frontline workers in a social care setting
